Oat Zaatar Manakeesh

Getting back to my Lebanese roots:) everyone’s favorite with a healthier twist!

    5 medium-sized pieces

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups of gluten free oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pink salt
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 cup of water

Instructions

  •  Mix the flour with baking powder & the salt in a large bowl.
  • Gradually start incorporating the water and mix well.
  • Add the oil & mix again until you get a non-sticky dough. You may need to add a bit more flour to get that consistency.
  • Divide the dough into 5 small rolls and use your rolling stick to flatten them out ( you need to add flour at the bottom to prevent it from sticking or parchment paper)
  • Put the flattened dough on a baking sheet, top with zaatar & olive oil & into the oven until the crust becomes a little bit crispy.
