Nuts & Cranberry Protein Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of chopped almonds
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 cup of dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons of honey, agave or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds or flax seeds or both

Instructions

  • Gloves on, use your hands to combine all ingredients together in a large bowl. The process can get a bit messy but if you have kids, this can be a fun kitchen activity.
  • let it rest in the fridge for 40mins
  • Roll into small balls and drop in the cocoa powder.
  • Shake well to remove the excess cocoa powder before serving.
